CHARACTERISTICS
THERMOPLASTIC WALL SYSTEMS • High impact resistance • seamless • heat weldable to itself and to PVC floors resulting in a seamless, monolithic room • ultra hygienic • malleable to form inside corners • can withstand bumping of process equipment, carts, etc • can be used on ceilings • minimal maintenance required • install over most smooth walls • can be used as wainscot or to cover the entire wall.
APPLICATIONS
Class 10 to 100,000 clean rooms, laboratories, hospitals, animal holding areas, research centers, corridors with cart traffic, bumpers for swinging doors, wet rooms, food processing areas, fermentation rooms, operating suites, burn centers, and whenever absolutely hygienic cleanliness is a requirement and where walls are being marred by repeated bumping. TESTING
Wall Systems pass ASTM E-84-95 (Steiner Tunnel Test) with a flame spread under 25 and smoke developed under 450. This test method is also published under the following designation: ANSI 2.5, NFPA 255, UBC 8-1, UL723. Conforms to BOCA requirements, USDA approved and listed with Underwriter;s Laboratories, Inc. under multiple listing file #R16341.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
A compiled list, wherein Wall Systems' resistance is excellent, would include the following acids: Spor-Klenz, Klercide, acetic butyric, hydrochloric, sulfuric, and silver nitrate.
